Week 5: Analyzing Businesses Facebook Pages

I analyzed three Facebook pages from clothing brands with which I am familiar to research how they use their page. The three brands I decided to analyze were Supreme, BAPE, and Stüssy. Three well-known brands in the streetwear/clothing industry.

Supreme utilizes its Facebook page to post collaborations, lookbooks, and images of models wearing their pieces. Each post consists of an image or video of their pieces with a short but informative description of the clothes. Each post also includes a date when the drop will be available on their website and in stores. Their Facebook page also includes a link to their website and Instagram. They are consistent with their posts, their last being on September 16, 2025. Overall, their cover photo and setup go well with their brand image. The brand uses its Facebook page effectively by informing its customers of drops and updates.

A Bathing Ape (BAPE) utilizes its Facebook page very similarly to Supreme's by posting collaborations, lookbooks, and images of models wearing their clothes. Each post consists of an image or video of their clothes with a longer description, compared to Supreme, about the clothes. They also include their drop date, website link, and hashtags in each post. I noticed they post on their story too. Their page includes their website link and Instagram link as well. They are consistent with their posts, their last being on September 22, 2025. They don't have a cover photo, only a profile picture with their logo, but I think their posts bring color to their page since they are known for making more colorful clothes. Despite being the page with the fewest followers of the three, I believe that they use their page most effectively by providing a lot of information in their posts.

Stüssy utilizes its Facebook page similarly to the two previous brands I mentioned. They post their collections, lookbooks, and other images and video content. They keep it simpler in their posts, which consist of an image/video of their clothes, a drop date, and a title. Their page also includes a link to their website and a cover photo that goes well with their brand image. Although their page is well put together, they aren't as consistent as the previous brands I analyzed. Their last post was on May 20, 2025, and it seems like it was their first since 2022. I noticed that they were consistent in 2022. Overall, I think their page still has an effective setup despite the inconsistency of their posts.

After analyzing these well-known brands' Facebook pages, I believe that they effectively use their pages to promote their brand. I think the strongest brand that utilized its page effectively was BAPE. They did well in providing information about their products in their posts and were the most consistent.
