Week 5: Setting Up My Facebook Page

I set up my Facebook page for my clothing brand, and it was actually simple to do. The only problem I encountered was trying to log into my personal Facebook page, which I rarely use. My account had been locked while I was trying to figure out my password, so I ended up creating a new Facebook page using the email address I use for school. After creating that account, I created a business account for my brand.
Once I was done creating my business account, it was time to customize it. For the profile picture, I just used the logo I had created, and for the cover photo, I used an alternate logo I created using Adobe Illustrator. After uploading the logos, in my intro for my page, I kept it simple and summarized the meaning behind the name of my brand. I also added a button to my page that links to the email of my brand. That email will be used for order updates, customer questions, and announcements. I will add my website in the future once I create it using Shopify, as well as other links like my Instagram page and TikTok page, where I plan to post most of the content.
Overall, it was really simple to create the Facebook page for my brand despite not being too familiar with the website/app. It's really easy to navigate around and to make changes. I hope to add more in the future and start posting content on it.
