Week 6: My Instagram Page

I created an Instagram page for my clothing brand business, and it was as simple as I thought since I'm already familiar with Instagram. I started by creating another personal profile. I then created my business page using the email for the brand that I will be using. The profile started as a personal account, so I located the settings to switch to a business account. It was somewhat difficult to locate since I created it on my laptop rather than my phone. After labeling my page as a "Clothing Brand" page, it was time to customize it.

I wanted to keep my Instagram page very similar to my Facebook page. I started by uploading my logo as the profile picture. I added the name of my brand, "TIED IN," and also the bio with the message of my brand, "tomorrow is not promised, tie in with your purpose." For the username, I was deciding whether to keep the "forever" in the name or not. I decided to go with @tiedin.usa and leave the "forever" out. I thought that the name looked better and shorter.

Overall, creating my Instagram page was just as easy as I thought. I hope and am excited to use this account for when I post content about my brand. I will focus on posting a majority of the content on this account. I hope to customize it in the future, like adding my website and customer support email in the links option.
