Week 9: Blogs & Podcasts
Blogs and podcasts can both be beneficial for a business's growth. Both are great ways to share the ideas and the process behind my clothing brand, Tied In Forever. With blogs, I can document my journey and thoughts throughout the process of creating my brand. With podcasts, however, I believe that it works best for a clothing brand. Podcasts have become more trending in recent times and can increase awareness for my brand. A podcast can help to share the message and meaning behind my brand and reach a larger audience. Podcasts also allow for more creative freedom and trust in my brand.
As mentioned before, podcasts have become very popular. They are easy to access and simple to consume for many. It is also a great, cost-effective marketing tool to promote any business. Podcasts can strengthen a brand's recognition by expanding to new audiences. Different platforms also allow you to monetize your podcast, generating another stream of income. They allow business owners to establish themselves in the industry by sharing their original ideas.
For my clothing brand, a podcast can allow for an authentic connection with my audience. The main meaning behind my clothing brand is for people to trust and tie in with their purpose, goals, and themselves. I think that a podcast can allow me to spread my message to different people who might feel discouraged. I can do this by inviting upcoming new creatives or even already successful creatives to share their story and inspire listeners with the same passions and goals. I want to use my platform as a way to help the people who already support the brand.
A podcast can be effective in creating original content for a business. I don't see many clothing brands in the industry with podcasts, and it could help my brand stand out from others. I want my brand to be more than just clothes and also turn into more of a community in the future.
