Week 12A: Social Media Advertising

     For my clothing brand, Tied In Forever, I plan to create two specific ads to reach my goals. I want both of these ads to showcase what my brand stands for, but most importantly, the clothes and my whole brand image. I want them to be simple but effective. I want to visually incorporate my brand's message, "tomorrow is not promised, tie in with your purpose," in these ads.

    For the first ad, I want to create a video that I will post on short-form content platforms. For the video ad, I want to contact at least three influencers or models who align with the message of my brand and who are connected and known within the space of my audience. My idea is for them to model my brand's clothes and have a photo shoot. I want to film a short behind-the-scenes type of video. During the behind-the-scenes shoot, I want the models/influencers to have narration in the video, and I will add clips in between the shots of them giving words of advice or motivation on how they found their purpose, or how they stay loyal to what they believe in. For the outro of the video, I want to add photos of my clothes and have a message saying 'OUT NOW AT [WEBSITE]' to add urgency.

    I believe that this ad would work well with my brand. The video will be under 1 minute to keep my audience engaged. The influencers/models will already be known and targeted within the space of my brand. I think having them spread their message also helps to build an authentic relationship between my brand and audience. It helps build a more loyal and connected community, which is what I want my brand to aim for. Also, the outro will add urgency and let my audience know that my clothes will be very limited. I think that my clothes being limited can build more hype for future releases. I will plan to post this video ad on the day of my release.

    For the second ad, I want to create a carousel post. The post will consist of pictures of the clothes I'm releasing. I want to showcase all the details of the clothes and include close-up pictures to show their quality. I will also include the pictures from the photo shoot for the other ad I'm planning. For the caption, I will include the drop date, the names of each product in order, and where they can purchase the clothes.

    This ad will be simpler but effective. It's more informational and includes many visuals that my audience can look at. It will include a description of each product and details. I will post this ad a couple of weeks before my video ad to build hype for the release. I think that the photoshoot pictures will help in building trust since the influencers/models are already known in the space, as mentioned before. It can help target people from their communities and come together to form a stronger one.
